Oakwood Fisheries is a stunning 5 acre estate lake set in mature woodland in the Brittany region of France. It is very near the ferry ports and within easy access of Calais. It is English owned and run for the last 12 years. It’s a great location for a carp fishing holiday in France.

It is an interesting lake that is a very secluded with many features. Lily pads, islands, gravel plateaux’s and over hanging trees can all be found.

The lake contains 140 big carp ranging from 20lbs – 54lbs including some really stunning fish in perfect condition from black commons to linear carp and fully scaled mirrors all reside at Oakwood.

The lake contains two 50lb plus carp, the record mirror currently stands at 53lb 10oz set in Oct 2018 and the common carp record has just been broken April 2019 with a stunning fish of 47lb 5oz There are also numerous 30 and 40lb carp and the average weight for 2018 season was 32lbs.

There is also a few very large grass carp over 70lbs.

It has 6 purpose built wood chipped swims where you can be comfortable and enjoy the scenic views and wildlife that visit the private 19 acre site.

Most of the swims can be accessed by car where you can unload your tackle upon arrival.

We offer freshly rolled bait on site rolled by us to order and an exceptional food package and free WiFi is available complete with a modern shower block and chest freezers.
