]]> It’s not all doom and gloom with the difficult two years everybody has had with Covid 19. The Fish have had a nice rest and and are breaking record weights. Our Mirror Carp record was Broken with a 60lb 4 oz a month back and now the common carp record has also fallen to this 61lb monster.

The angler that caught this fish had been waiting two years to visit us with all the travel restrictions so it shows you every cloud has a silver lining as our lake Oakwood Fishery’s is now boasting both commons and mirrors over 60lb for the 2022 season!!! Highlighting us as one of the Premier Small water Specimen Lakes in France.

]]> I am please to announce that not only has the common carp lake record been broken numerous times this season but the out right lake record has now been broken with this stunning mirror of 54lb 4oz.

 

The Fish was tempted from swim 4 after just 2 hours fishing by Ashley Heaton and its the first time to the bank all season after it had evaded capture it was great to see it in such amazing condition.
